After returning to Kiseong, Sang Pil takes over the office that his mother, a civil rights lawyer, used to use. He keeps busy trying to get the chance to defend Hyung Man for the murder of Kiseong's Mayor, Lee Young Soo. Jae I begins to wonder why Sang Pil is so determined to work on this case.
