The 2019 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) will be held at the FIBES Conference and Exhibition Centre in Seville, Andalusia, Spain, on 3 November 2019.[1] The host of the ceremony will be Becky G.[2] This will be the fourth time, as well as the second consecutive year, that Spain hosts the awards show. It will be the first time that a country hosts back-to-back editions of the award show.
Ariana Grande was nominated for seven awards, followed by Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X and Shawn Mendes, who were each nominated for six.[3]
In association with the EMAs, an event called MTV Music Week will be organised, which will run from 31 October to 2 November at different locations throughout the city. Its main concert will be held at the Plaza de España on 2 November, headlined by Green Day.[4]
