14x2 - The Laurel and Hardy Show

In World War One, Stan is left to guard a trench while Ollie goes 'over the top'. More than twenty years later, Stan is discovered still at his post. Ollie, now married, sees his friend's picture in the newspaper and visits him at the Old Soldier's Home. Stan is invited back for a meal but Mrs. Hardy objects and storms out. Stan and Ollie's disastrous attempts to cook lead to the arrival of an attractive neighbour - and her shotgun-wielding husband.
