Fang Leng wakes up after recovering, and as a way of thanking Chai Xiaoqi for her care, he prepares breakfast for her. However, he warns her not to develop feelings for him, as he believes their relationship can never go anywhere. Chai Xiaoqi, however, accidentally reveals that she only likes the scent of Fang Leng, which sparks an idea in Fang Leng's mind.
