Chas tells Diane that Sadie was responsible for the house collapse but she can’t call the police because it would wreck her relationship with Carl. She implies that there is nothing stopping Diane from calling them instead and later the police arrive to take Sadie away for questioning. Meanwhile, an irate Bob bad-mouths Terry in the pub for robbing TJ of his inheritance. Terry gives in and suggests he put half the money in a trust for TJ and invest the other half as originally suggested. Elsewhere, concerned with how much it would affect Pearl if he moved away, Danny offers her the chance to take up a job in Portugal.
