As events reach a climax in the courtroom, Ryan finally learns whether he'll be spending his future behind bars for a crime he didn't commit. Charity is shocked to discover that Cain is holding Nathan hostage. Meanwhile, Moira and John are shocked to find Holly completely out of it in the barn. John is at a loss and insists to Moira that they crack down on Holly's freedom. As they toy with their options, Moira tentatively suggests they consider the methadone programme.
