In ""The Skater's Edge"" untrained farm girl Charlie Girl from Minnesota fantasizes about competing as a world-class figure skater. In ""Concerto of Death"" piano player Jeremy Hale comes to believe that his famous concert pianist brother was murdered and is tormented by his memory.
