Murphy arrives and informs everyone at the Chancellor mansion that Katherine won’t be returning with him. Murphy explains that Katherine knew she was going to die, but didn’t want to tell anyone the real story of what the doctors said after her surgery. After Murphy tells everyone that Katherine died peacefully in her sleep, he gives Nikki a letter to read from Katherine. Jill gets upset and feels she was robbed of the chance to say goodbye to Katherine. Later, everyone recalls different memories of their times with Katherine.Nick welcomes Avery back home as a frustrated Sharon watches. Noah stops by to see Sharon and notices the speeding ticket and questions Sharon about it.Later, Sharon interrupts a romantic moment between Nick and Avery. When Sharon leaves, Avery tells Nick that she wants to get married right away.
