Else is put in charge of a young girl suffering from abdominal pain, and looks on in envy as the girl is showered with gifts from an American soldier. So when an opportunity presents itself, Else helps herself to the spoils. Dr. Friis' parents come for a visit, but leave both Dr. Friis and Lis feeling hurt.
