Even Gohan is forced to fight an uphill battle against the buffed-up Boo. Watching the battle from the Kaioshin Realm, the Elderly Kaioshin declares that he will give up his own life, so that Goku can be revived. At that same moment, Vegeta shows up before Great Kinga Yama. He had decided to return Vegeta to life, so that he caould save Earth--indeed, the entire universe--from Boo!
