The story follows Salvo and Valentino, two Sicilian nurses working in Milan, constantly caught between their professional lives in the north and their families back home in Sicily. Just days before Christmas, they stumble upon a mysterious portal, a discovery that promises to change their lives, though not necessarily for the better.
