The Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon in which black dogs are passed over for adoption in favor of lighter-colored dogs. In our society, there are people who are treated as black dogs. Not necessarily due to their lack of something, but because we all have come to fear in growing together. The lonely hearts who choose to have dinner or grab a drink alone might be the modern black dogs in our culture. Here, we have a girl named Ha Neul who was forced to be mistreated on her first day as a teacher. Every day she faces war and the school is her battlefield. Despite the hardships and obstacles, she willingly sacrifices herself to become a true teacher and educator. Throughout Ha Neul’s long and tiresome journey, the drama portrays the few genuine educators who really care. Who actually want to fulfill their definition of being a true teacher.
